About Emery Sweater
Emery Sweater features a slight oversize fit and raglan design. It is knitted top down with German short rows that raise then neck and shoulders for a perfect fit.   The unique texture adds depth and a heavy drape.  
 
Finished Measurements:
  • Bust: 34 (38, 42, 46) (50, 54, 58) inches 
  • Upper Arm: 13.25 (14, 14.5, 15.75) (17.25 19, 20.5) inches
  • Total length: 23 (23, 23.5, 23.5) (24 24, 24) inches measured from center back after neckband.
    • To choose your size, measure your bust and add 5-6 inches.  Then choose the closest finished bust circumference.
     
     
     

    • Gauge

      19 sts x 29 rows in gauge pattern on US 10/6mm = 4 x 4 inches when knit in the round, washed, and blocked

       

    • Yarn

      Bulky (5) Malabrigo Mecha 130yd/100g Shown here in color Jessica

      7 (7, 8, 9) (9, 10, 11)  skeins or about 840, 890, 1000, 1100, 1150, 1250, 1400 yards if substituting a different yarn.

    • Needles

      • US 8/5mm circular needles (16 and 30-40 inch) and DPN’s. These will be used to knit the neckband, cuffs, and hem ribbing. 
      • US 10/6mm circular needles (16, 24, 40 inch) and DPN to work sleeves. These will be used to knit the body and sleeves. You’ll start on smaller circular needles and then move on to longer ones as stitch count increases.
      • If using magic loop, you don’t need DPN’s.
