Finished  Measurements
  • Chest: 27 (29, 32, 35.5, 38) inches / 67.5 (72.5, 80, 88.75, 95) cm
  • Upper Arm: 11.5 (12.5, 13.75, 14.25, 14.25) inches / 28.75 (31.25, 34.25, 35.5, 35.5) cm
  • Armhole Depth: 6.25 (7, 8, 9, 10) inches / 15.5 (17.5, 20, 22.5, 25) cm
  • Suggested Total Length: 15 (16, 18, 19, 20) inches / 37.5 (40, 45, 47.5, 50) cm
 
Choosing Size:   Rumi Cardigan is intended to be worn with a positive ease of 5-6 inches (12-15cm) perfect for layering.  If you’d like a more standard fit, choose a size with 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) of positive ease.  For example, if chest measures 24 inches (60 cm), you’ll choose the 2-3 years size for a standard fit or the 4-6 years for an oversize fit.
 
     
     
     

    • Gauge

      7 sts x 9 rows in stockinette on US 19/15mm = 4 x 4 inches

    • Yarn

      Super bulky (6) Preferred yarn: Malabrigo Rasta 90yd/150g.   You’ll need 225 (270, 360, 405, 450) yards.

      Yarn Alternatives:  The Wool by We Are Knitters, Lion Brand Thick and Quick

    • Needles

      Circular Needles 30-40 inches long: US 19/15mm and US 15/10mm.  These will be used to knit the body.

      Double pointed needles US 19/15mm and US 15/10mm.  These will be used to knit the sleeves in the round.  If using magic loop, you don’t need DPN’s.
